This is a sampling of Cuyahoga Falls police reports between February 5-14 and is not meant to be a comprehensive list of all events occurring in the city. All persons are considered innocent until proven guilty.

It was a slow week in Cuyahoga Falls.

February 12 A 59-year-old Tudor Street resident was involved in a car accident at the high school. While speaking with the individual the officer felt the individual may have been under the influence of drugs. After failing a field sobriety test the person was arrested for operating a vehicle impaired and taken to Western Reserve Hospital for a blood draw. The driver was issued a citation for failure to control with lab results pending for the operating a vehicle impaired charge.

February 12 A 17th Street resident was stopped for a marked lane violation near 20th and Broad Blvd. The driver was found to be operating a vehicle impaired. The individual gave a urine sample at the police department where he was booked and able to leave on bond. The vehicle was towed and the sample was sent for testing.
