This is a sampling of Cuyahoga Falls police reports made available August 14 and is not meant to be a comprehensive list of all events occurring in the city. All persons are considered innocent until proven guilty.

7-29  Police were requested in the 1900 block of 9th Street to take a report from a woman that an unknown person(s) gained entry into her unlocked car  located in her driveway and stole her pink Kate Spade wallet that was in the center console. Inside the wallet were two debit cards along with $20.00 and her OH driver’s license. There are no suspects.

8-2  A Graham Road credit union requested police because an unknown person intercepted a check sent by the credit union to a financial institution via mail, and fraudulently cashed it. The check was for $19,584.13 with the credit union being at a loss. The manager advised they did wish to prosecute. There is possible known suspect information.

8-3  The manager of a drugstore in the 2300 block of State Road summoned police after an unknown male entered the store with a bag in hand, filled the bag with an unknown amount of body wash and fake nails and left the store without purchase or consent. The manager stated the approximate value as $100.00. The male left in a black SUV with temporary tags in an unknown direction. The store will pursue charges.
