Cuyahoga Falls City Council holds regular meetings on the second and fourth Mondays of each month. Council committee meetings are held on the first and third Mondays in order to allow councilmembers to publicly discuss pending legislation that will be voted on at regular meetings. The public is free to comment on pending legislation during the allowed time set aside as part of committee meetings.
New Ordinances & Resolutions
B-33: An ordinance accepting the recommendation of the planing commission for the construction of the Silver Birch Assisted Living Facility. Will be discussed in planning and zoning committee on June 2.
B-34: An ordinance authorizing the director of public service to enter into a modification of Contract No. 9276 with GPD Group. Will be discussed in planning and zoning committee on June 2.

Finance & Appropriations:
B-31: An ordinance authorizing the director of public service to enter into a contract or contracts, according to law, for the replacement of the roof at the Municipal Garage in the City of Cuyahoga Falls. Passed 11-0.
Miscellaneous Business
Finance Director Bryan Hoffman shared report 21 from his office with council, stating the general fund revenue is on pace with budget. Fuel tax revenue is down but hotel/motel tax is up for this time of year. Hoffman also stated that so far there is a 3.3% increase in payroll withholding taxes so far this year.
