Cuyahoga Falls City Council holds regular meetings on the second and fourth Mondays of each month. Council committee meetings are held on the first and third Mondays in order to allow councilmembers to publicly discuss pending legislation that will be voted on at regular meetings. The public is free to comment on pending legislation during the allowed time set aside as part of committee meetings.

B-29: An ordinance authorizing the director of public service to enter into a contract or contracts, according to law, for concrete pavement repairs to various streets. Assigned to the public and industrial improvements committee to be discussed on Monday,May 5 at 6:30pm.
B-30: An ordinance approving and authorizing the mayor to execute a Community Development Block Grant Agreement with Statewide License Service Corporation for an economic development project. Assigned to the community development committee to be discussed on next Monday, May 5 at 6:30pm

B-26: An ordinance authorizing the director of public service to enter into a contract or contracts, without competitive bidding, with Hach Company for the purchase of two in-line manganese meters for the Water Treatment Plant. Passed 10-0.
B-27: An ordinance authorizing the parks and recreation board to enter into a contract or contracts, without competitive bidding, with Ohio Drilling Company for inspections, maintenance, and repair of the water wells at Brookledge Golf Club. Passed 10-0.
Public Affairs:

Miscellaneous Business
Community Development Director Diana Colavecchio gave the highlights of the quarterly report from her department, including the addition of a winery and spa in Boston Township that was made possible by Cuyahoga Falls using ARPRA funds to run water to the Boston Township Jedd.
Willian Zawiski From the Ohio EPA spoke to council and gave an update on the current status of the Gorge Dam. Currently we are in phase 2 of the sludge removal and he invited the public to the next information meeting on May 19 from 6 to 8pm at the downtown main library in Akron.
Finance Director Bryan Hoffman went over Report 21 (the quarterly snapshot of city finances). Municipal income collection is up 1.5% and other indicators show the leisure time funds are progressing where they need to be this time of year.
