The suspect then passed the final point of sale without paying for the items with the intent to deprive the grocery store of the property. When approached by police the suspect resisted lawful arrest by officers by pulling away from officer’s grasp, running and refusing to stop, and actively drawing her hands under her body to avoid handcuffing. Police also stated the suspect did knowingly possess drug paraphernalia used to ingest marijuana, to wit: one glass bowl commonly used to smoke marijuana and one rolling tray used to form blunts, both of which did contain marijuana residue.
