City Council Minutes Report: March 3, 2025

City Council News & Politics

Cuyahoga Falls City Council holds regular meetings on the second and fourth Mondays of each month. Council committee meetings are held on the first and third Mondays in order to allow councilmembers to publicly discuss pending legislation that will be voted on at regular meetings. The public is free to comment on pending legislation during the allowed time set aside as part of committee meetings.

Legislation scheduled for discussion:

Temp. Ord. B-16: An ordinance authorizing and approving the final subdivision plat for the Reserve at Boulder Estate Development located on the southwest corner of State Road and Boulder Boulevard. City Planning Director Rob Kurtz started by saying this was approved by the planning commission on  February 9 with some conditions, including that a HOA needed to be formed and the storm water easement would be the responsibility of the newly formed HOA. Should this pass council, construction of the 11 homes all priced between $600K-$700K would begin in April. Eight of the homes would be on Boulder Boulevard and the remaining three will be on State Road. The proposed development is in the Hudson School District and the lot sizes will range between 0.25 and 0.5 acre. The committee voted to bring this legislation out before all of council next Monday, March 10 at 6:30.
