Cuyahoga Falls City council met to vote on legislation previously discussed during the committee meetings held on September 7.
The finance committee had two pieces of legislation for council as a whole to vote on– B-62 and B-63. Both of these will allow the finance director to issue bonds. B-62 allows $2,255,000 and B-63 allows $1,245,000, of which will be repaid as property taxes are collected from home owners in the development where these improvements were made. Both pieces of legislation passed 10-0 with Councilman Balthis abstaining.
In community Development, B-64, an ordinance that would allow the mayor to execute and submit our annual action plan to HUD (the department of housing and urban development), passed unanimously, and with that council was adjourned.
