This is a sampling of Cuyahoga Falls police reports made available June 17 and is not meant to be a comprehensive list of all events occurring in the city. All persons are considered innocent until proven guilty.
6-6 A grocery store in the 2800 block of State Road reports a suspect knowingly walked past all points of sale with $311.03 worth of unpaid merchandise. During this investigation, the suspect gave police multiple different forms of personal identifiable information that did not belong to her which prolonged the investigation. The suspect was identified and later found to possess a meth pipe with burnt residue. The suspect was booked and charged.
6-8 A machine shop in the 600 block of Munroe Falls Avenue reported to police that the fence to the lower building of their plant was intentionally struck by a vehicle. He was able to show police video of the incident, and it seems a white Jeep Wrangler or Jeep Gladiator drove through the fence at a high rate of speed and broke open the fence. An unknown woman can be seen getting out of the passenger side and running from the driver. Another camera caught the driver attempting to run the female over on Munroe Falls Avenue. The shop manager stated they would like prosecution if the driver were found, in regard to the fence. Video and photos have been uploaded. As of now there are leads but no suspects.
6-9 An Akron woman reported that on 05/29/2026, her credit card was used without her authorization at a convenience store located in the 2600 block of Bailey Rd. An unknown person(s) used her credit card to make a fraudulent transaction totaling $500.00. There are no leads at this time. The victim wishes to prosecute.
6-9 A resident in the 200 block of Johnson Avenue reported to police that an unknown subject entered her unlocked vehicle and took $16 cash and miscellaneous change from her vehicle. The victim reported that this incident occurred somewhere between the date of June 8 and the morning of June 9. The victim is willing to prosecute.
6-9 Another resident in the 100 block of Johnson Avenue reports that an unknown suspect entered her unlocked vehicle and took a pair of black Ray-Ban sunglasses from the center console on the night of June 8. The victim is willing to prosecute.
6-9 A resident in the 200 block of Pierce Avenue reports that an unknown person(s) entered his unlocked Ford F-150 while it was parked in his driveway and stole $15 in change. The victim states his vehicle was not damaged from the entry. The victim will prosecute. There are no leads/suspects.
6-10 A resident in the 2800 block of Norma Avenue reported to police that she sent an unknown suspect from Facebook Marketplace an $80 cashier’s check for a black Coach purse. The unknown suspect stated she received the check and would send out the purse. The suspect has since stopped responding to the victim’s messages and the purse was never shipped. The check, however, was cashed as acknowledged by the suspect. The victim would like to pursue charges. There are local leads.
6-10 A resident in the 100 block of Munroe Avenue reported to police that his vehicle was broken into in his driveway. The victim states that two fishing rods, $160 cash and his grandfather’s firearm were stolen, totaling $660. The victim states the vehicle was locked. There are no signs of forced entry on the vehicle. Neighbors did not report seeing anything unusual. The victim does wish to prosecute.
6-11 A sports bar in the 700 block of Munroe Falls Avenue reported a suspicious male walking in and out of the bar several times. The suspect was located stumbling in the roadway and found to be intoxicated. He was also found to be in possession of a loaded firearm concealed in the chest pocket of his jacket and also admitted to being inside the bar. He was arrested for being in possession of a loaded firearm while intoxicated and also for bringing a concealed loaded firearm into a beer and liquor establishment. He was booked at CFPD and transported to Summit County Jail and charged with possession of a firearm in beer or liquor permit premises, and possession of weapons while intoxicated.
6-11 A 24-year-old Stow man reported to police that while parked, an unknown person(s) gained entry into his vehicle and stole two Canon camera lenses, two camera batteries, and a camera bag. The total estimated value of the stolen property was $70. The victim wishes to prosecute. There are leads.
6-11 Cuyahoga Falls Police reported that a known male caused annoyance, inconvenience, and alarm during a dance recital at Cuyahoga Falls High School. The male was reported to be yelling, screaming, and using vulgar language as a result of a disagreement regarding an incident with his child. After speaking with the male and other involved parties, officers escorted him from the premises and advised him that if similar behavior occurs again, he could be charged with disorderly conduct.
6-11 A pizza shop in the 1900 block of Bailey Road reported that an unknown male Door Dasher came into the store for an order. The unknown male then took the Pizzeria’s tip jar off the counter and exited the store. The manager stated the tip jar contained roughly $40-$50. The manager would like to prosecute and have the male trespassed. There are leads at this time.
6-12 The manager of a convenience store in the 600 block of Graham Road reported a male causing a disturbance in a bathroom stall in the women’s restroom using profanities and insulting employees and patrons. Upon police checking on the male he refused to comply with officers’ orders to leave, and was charged with criminal trespass. The suspect was also found to be in possession of an open can of Bud Light beer that was stolen from the store. Management signed charges for theft and criminal trespass. The suspect was also cited for Disorderly Conduct and was taken to CFPD Jail for a bench warrant.
6-13 A Filmore Avenue resident made a complaint to police that a new convenience store in the 600 block of Graham road has been having early trash pick-up between the hours of 3:00-5:00 am, two times a week causing a disturbance. Police spoke with the manager, and he stated they are working to fix the issue to get a later trash pick-up. The manager was warned for disorderly conduct.
