This is a sampling of Cuyahoga Falls police reports made available August 7 and is not meant to be a comprehensive list of all events occurring in the city. All persons are considered innocent until proven guilty.

7-29  The police were summoned to an address in the 1800 block of 5th Street where a woman reported that an unknown person entered her vehicle in the nighttime hours while it was parked in the driveway of her residence. The unknown party took two credit cards from her vehicle. The victim does wish to pursue charges, no further action at this time.

7-29  A resident in the 1800 block of 6th Street requested police to report that unknown person(s) did trespass into his unlocked vehicles parked in his drive. At this time nothing is reported missing. He will prosecute. A possible suspect may have seen captured on a neighbors Ring Camera.

7-29  A citizen reported to police he found a wallet in the middle of the road on Falls Ave near 5th Street. After investigation the victim was located. The wallet was removed from a car in the 700 block of Falls Avenue; missing from the wallet were seven bank cards. Estimated value of the wallet is $30.00. No damage to the vehicle reported. No other items reported stolen. The victim notified their banks about their stolen cards.

7-29  A resident in the 700 block of Falls Avenue contacted police to make a report that an unknown party entered their vehicle while parked in their drive throughout the nighttime hours and took $5 in cash, $5 worth of one dollar coins, as well as batting cage tokens. The resident does wish to pursue charges, no further action at this time.

7-29  A resident in the 1700 block of 7th Street beckoned police to inform that sometime during the nighttime hours an unknown person entered her open garage and her unlocked vehicle. The person took unknown amount of change as well as real estate documents from within her vehicle. The resident does wish to pursue charges. No further action at this time.

7-30  An employee at a grocery store in the 200 block of Howe Avenue flagged down police to report he witnessed a suspect put two bottles of white wine, a salad, and two sandwiches in her purse. The food came to a total of $51.97. The man reported to police that when he approached the suspect as she left the store without paying, she then ran to her vehicle. The store employee took a photo of the suspect’s vehicle including the license plate number. The grocery store stated they would prosecute.
